ok so to sum this video up, get a modular power supply and use common sense. there just saved you 6 minutes.

i did last night as well :)

  5. LiberatedMind1 Says:

Then why the hell did you watch?

  6. LiberatedMind1 Says:

I fixed it, all neat now :)

  7. stealthmeth Says:

i should tell you how moronic it is to buy a case that allows for proper airflow and leave your cables like a bowl of spagetti. however i do the same thing, i feel rather guilty though lol.

    good job man ;)

The inside of my custom rig looks like a rigged bomb with all the cables! Bloody mess.

anyone know a video that shows good cable management outside of a case? I would really like to get cables running to walls and devices to be less cluttered and more organized.

Like I needed cable management tips for a modular PSU. Thanks for nothing.

im talking about where the cables would be kept if u had a cable manage pc case on the left side

  16. OwLoLz Says:

I wouldn’t place them between the side of the case and the mobo, if that is what you mean.

  17. batty251 Says:

what if my case dosent have a open area on the bottom for my cords to go through but it dose have enough space behind the mobo to put cords behind

6850 isn’t that bad ;-) It’s still one of the best bang for your buck cards out there, i have a 6870 myself.

Oops, I accidently used my brother account to reply, it was supposed to be from my own account (mechanicraft).

  21. Charlie Feighan Says:

Good to hear it, enjoy your new computer- I’m jealous of your 670, got a HD 6850 myself :(

  22. mechanicraft Says:

The video card means 550w including the other components, a 670 would use nowhere near 550W on its own. Of course, the 550W requirement is just a recommendation, since it depends on what the other components in your system are, but since the graphics card is usually the most power hungry component, 550W is a good general rule for most systems. So basically, 800W is more than enough power (provided you are talking about a single card)

    finally a video from 2009 that isn’t in 240p

  24. element271 Says:

If it is a quality PSU (which I think it is) it will and if it doesn’t the GPU will come with the necessary adapters.

  25. element271 Says:

I used to run three 9000 series cards on a generic 550w, you will be fine.
