i should tell you how moronic it is to buy a case that allows for proper airflow and leave your cables like a bowl of spagetti. however i do the same thing, i feel rather guilty though lol.
anyone know a video that shows good cable management outside of a case? I would really like to get cables running to walls and devices to be less cluttered and more organized.
The video card means 550w including the other components, a 670 would use nowhere near 550W on its own. Of course, the 550W requirement is just a recommendation, since it depends on what the other components in your system are, but since the graphics card is usually the most power hungry component, 550W is a good general rule for most systems. So basically, 800W is more than enough power (provided you are talking about a single card)

im talking about where the cables would be kept if u had a cable manage pc case on the left side
March 4th, 2013 at 8:46 am
I wouldn’t place them between the side of the case and the mobo, if that is what you mean.
March 4th, 2013 at 9:03 am
what if my case dosent have a open area on the bottom for my cords to go through but it dose have enough space behind the mobo to put cords behind

If it is a quality PSU (which I think it is) it will and if it doesn’t the GPU will come with the necessary adapters.

I used to run three 9000 series cards on a generic 550w, you will be fine.
